Christmas Orders and Shipping
This Holiday season I will be working on a 5-7 day lead time for all orders. Please find below info regarding my shops last dates for ordering and shipping.
UK orders placed on or before Tuesday 14th December will be shipped before the 21st of December.
The 21st is the last day for 1st class Royal Mail delivery before Christmas
EU/Rest of World orders placed on or before 3rd of December for shipping before the 10th of December.
The 10th is the last day for Royal Mail international delivery before Christmas
Please beware the above dates are guides only and I cannot account for delays in your local area or service disruptions due to Covid-19.
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalised orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
All items (except bespoke items) are covered by the “Distance Selling Regulations”. You are entitled to a refund of the purchase price if you decide to change your mind and inform us within 14 days of receipt of your purchase, the return needs to be postmarked within these seven days. In these circumstances, return postage, packing and insurance costs remain with you, the buyer. Unfortunately I am unable to provide a free returns service.
Further to this, we will give a full refund or exchange (inc. return P&P) if the item you receive is faulty or “significantly not as described” on this website, where you inform us within seven days of receipt of the item and where we confirm that the issue is genuine. (This will usually apply in the unlikely event that we have sent you the wrong colour, size or product). Please note the points regarding natural materials and variations, below.
In either case, any refund requires that the item is returned as supplied (with all tags, extras, packaging etc) and in original condition.
Any customs duties paid by non-EU buyers remain the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded by Shire Supply Company. As Shire is only me the return address will be provided on a case by case bases.
The leather used by shire is 100% natural material and slight differences in shade/colour from the traditional tanning processes sometimes occur from batch to batch. Small scars and growth marks from the life of the animal do occur and are considered as normal and implicit in the item description. All our products, being handmade by real people, will be slightly different. While every effort is made to match product pictures precisely, small differences will occur. This makes each item unique and is not considered as constituting "significant difference" from item descriptions unless differing significantly from specifications given in communications pertaining to a specific sale.
